A clear colde day.
Ben plowed all day. Jim cut
wood. Owen come from Altavista
this morning. [Perry} Dews went
to meet him at the Island.
Josie washed this morning
and went to Marvins this
evening. Marvin stripped
tobacco the last he has.
Henry went to school.

10 o clock

I had a letter from Julia
Ferguson to day.
