Wednesday, January 23, 1918

A clear colde day. Ben
hauled in a shock of corn
this morning. He is very much
complaining to night.

Josie sewed on her quilt
some today.

I got dinner and washed
the dishes
. I went to Marvins
a little while this evening.
Marvin went to Gretna
to day got home before
dark was well pleased
with the sale of his
tobacco
. It was and awful
bad day to go any where.
