Monday, September 8, 1919

A good day. Ben went
to meet Jim at Gretna this
evening. All the children
went with him.

To night Clifton and Jane and Bruce &
Molie Reynols was here to supper.
I was glad to have them.
Jack Harvey commenced to paint
the house top. Quit and went
to Mr. Moses [?]. He had Bens horse
and buggy.

Josie got dinner. She made a
cake. I killed two chickens
for supper. I washed two
pair of blankets this morning.

Heard to night that my
brother went to Chatham
Saturday and had some
teeth taken out. I do hope he
may get well a gain.

Heard tonight that Hughs
Walker died this morning.
I knew him when we were
young.
