Monday April 18, 1921

A bad day rained most of
the evening and still raining.
Jim went to Chatham.
Marvin carried him. Ben
went for[gua?]. Carried
a log to the c mill.
Henry went with him.
John went to see Carrie
a whil this morning.
John and Henry went to
St?ail Stone this evening.
They went horse back.
We had fried chicken
for dinner. The first that
we had killed this
[??ning] to night is a
[?c?ny]. bad time on little
chickens. Hope it will
quit raining soon.
