Monday, August 9, 1920

A rainy day most
of the day. Ben & Henry
suckered tobacco a while.
Jim worked on his tobacco.
Ben kept up fire/fine [?] in
the barn. Josie got
dinner. I made a few
preserves of peaches
that growed here.
Pulled green[s] [?]
Carrie come a few
minutes for some soda.
We owed her a pound.
Josie is washing
dishes now. The baby
is a sleep. Kate come
to Carries to day
to see about some
sowing.
