Tuesday, August 24, 1920

A good day. No rain.
The men folks cut
tobacco all day. Josie
staid at the barn
all day and kept
up the fires.
Nellie caned some
tomatoes this morning
and made preserves
this evening and
picked some beans.
I got the dinner.
Josie gathered the snaps
and corn. This evening
I gathered a few
beans and got
some muskmellon
and tomatoes.
Earl Bennett eat dinner
with us today.
