I did not intend to have gone this length
wn. I began, and yet I scarce know how to
break off, not that I think you ignorant
of your duty, but because I would bring
to your remembrance some (at least) of
those things wch. you have learned; as also
that you may have this paper by you, as a
continual monitor, wch. I hope you
will peruse frequently, and that ye rather,
considering from whom it comes, even from
him who desires you to amend in your selves
whatsoever you have seen amiss in him, and
who advises you to follow no man (nor so-
ciety of men) any further than he or they
follow Christ; and who wishes you all
prosperity, especially that your soul may
prosper, and who doubts not to find you
still loving and dutifull children, and fi-
nally, who subscribes himself your tender

and affectionate Father,
