My dear Mother
I had a short article in the
last Phillipian but it did not amount to very
much. Tomorrow I hope to go off with the sailor
and may get a grey squirrel. Last evening I went
to see Miss Locke for the first time this term.
The time is going very quickly. November is nearly
here and then Thanksgiving. It is blowing hard
and quite cool, just about right. Tomorrow will
be cousin Anna Hallowell's birthday. Hope you are
well. I am. How soon will Aunt Susan be home? W.W.S.
