Status: Needs Review

My dear Edward
Yesterday I went to take a walk with
the sailor and as we were walking through the woods
he saw a gray squirrel which ran up a pine tree.
Then I climbed up a tree close to it and saw where
he was. Then I came down and shot him. He was
pretty big and had a very pretty skin which I am
trying to tann. Won't thee write to me again
pretty soon and draw me some pictures. Christ-
mas is only three weeks from to day and then wont
we have a splendid time and lots of sugar
plumbs. Please tell mother I feel very well. W.W.S.
