My dear mother
We had an examination in Greek
this morning and it was pretty hard, I hope how-
ever that I passed as a good deal depends on it.
We have but one more regular examination and
that comes early Monday morning in Latin. I am
not sure whether I told thee that I received a note from
Alfred Worcester asking me to stay there during the ex-
aminiations. Cousin Sallie did not say anything
about my staying there. I hope you had pleasant
night on the Sound and arrived safely. It was a
lovely night to be on the water. I feel well W.W.S.
