March 20th Met and performed. Debat by Hays on
the af. Henry Tray on the neg. Que Is the present
number of Colleges in our country better for
our literature than a less number wont be.
Decided in the af. Yays 15 Nays 14. After presented
exersises [sic] proceeded to business. Voted that
our respected Instructors Messrs Johnson & McLane
be invited to attend the exersises of this Society on
tuseday [sic] evening next. Voted also that Messrs
Rogers & Reid be received as members of this
society, Adjourned.
