May 17th 1833 Met according to adjorment & proceeded
to the discussion of the Qu -ought the claims of the
abolitionist to be supported in preference to sutained
by the cm - public in preference to the colonization.
Society [Leaders?] in the mg= votes standing 28 to 15
After the exersises Mr Rich requested dis[?]serion
from this Society. Voted that M Charles Rich
be honerably dis[?issian that he receive a vote
of thanks from this Society for his service.
Mr. J. P. Langworthy was them chosen to supply
the vacancy occasioned by the resignation of
