For the last 5 years our MissionStation has not received any assistance or subsidy from Government - yet we kept on feeding and teaching the

blacks as far as our means allowed to do so. We have don [sic] all we could but now we ar [sic] unable to feed a number of blacks as at present is camped at the station. They realy [sic] do want some assistance from the Government as our means are insufficient to satisfy such a number of actually starving aboriginals. In the name of those blacks I appeal through you Sir to to the Government for help. I know the blacks will be very thankful now for anything that could be done for them & so would we their friends & teachers.
I remain Sir Most respectfully G. H. Schwarz
