I enclose evidence taken by me in an enquiry held by me on the 14th inst, as to the shooting of a Blackfellow by the Police here.
I may say he was a notorious scoundrel and will be a good riddance.

I, James Kershaw lately Shepherd at Victoria Downs, do solemnly declare that the pr Blue Blankets. Tomahawk. pr Trowsers, Towel, PrayerBook, Tin Billy Spoon, Fork, & Muffler[?], shown to me by Sergeant Kinsella are my property. the same were stolen from me on the 7th Feb 1881

I, Charles Brown shepherd at Victoria Downs, do solemnly declare that the sheathknife & sheath, pr Troswers, 3 Crimean shirts, Hr Shirt, pr Boots, 4 HKfs Pocket Book, Razor, Muffler, Scissors Sugar, Tea & Flour in Bags, Tin Billy and Pint pot, shown to me by Sergeant Kinsella, are my property. The same were stolen from my hut on the 5th of Feb. 1881. The door being smashed open on my return in the evening, and these things gone

I, William Miller shepherd at Victoria Downs, do solemnly declare that the three pairs of troswers, coat, rug, scarf, two towels two shirts, pr Boots, two HKfs, & Hat, shown to me by Sergeant Kinsella, are my property, the same were stolen from my hut on the 5th day of February 1881. The door being smashed open, on my return in the evening and these things gone
