Sir, I have the honor to state, that I am in receipt of your dispatch dated 8th February 1862, oredring me to sell Cash horses by public auction and replace them by remount horses. I beg to men = tion that the four horses cash, will be sold on Saturday and the pro = ceeds lodged with me Secretary Police Depart = ment, and the particu = lars, brands and prices of remount horses, I will forward at the end of the quarter I have the honor to be Sir Your Obedient Servt.
