Nearest Commissioner J.P. Sharkey. Bowen.

Bowen to Conway (Police Station) 106 miles Thence to Gold field 50 "

Dalrymple (H'd Quarters Police district) to Gold field about 60 "

at Conway & Gold fields one Sub-Inspector at Ravenswood (one Act. Serg't & three Constables.) with one acting Sub Inspector & Six troopers.

at Dalrymple One Inspector, one Sergeant and ten troopers.

Last report from Sub Inspector Murray 10th December 1869

Francis[?] Clarke Esq JP. went to Ravenswood from Bowen in last being requested to do so in consequence of a report made to the Col. Sec. by the Bowen Bench similar to that now made by them. On arrival at the diggings the reports were found to have been incorrect and the Magistrate & Constable returned. The expense of this trip amounted to about £50, £15 of which were paid to Mr. Clarke.
