A laboring man named Edmond Meagher left Geraldton yesterday for his work on Goondi plantation a few miles distant accompanied by two aboriginals recently recruited labours [sic] his body was found on a road leading through the plantation at noon with a fearful wound in the neck the blacks had decamped but they were last night arrested on suspicion of
