Transfers & assignments of districts (Sub Insp Urquhart & Cooper)

Sir,

I have the honor to recommend for the approval of the Honorable the Colonial ~ Secretary the following transfers and ~ assignment of districts in terms of Section 4 of "The Police Act of 1863":—

First Class Sub Inspector Frederick [sic] Charles Urquhart from Cloncurry to Thursday Island, adjacent Islands and the Eastern Coast of the Colony from ~ Cooktown to Cape York and the West Coast in the Gulf of Carpentaria from Norman River to Cape York.

Second Class Sub Inspector William ~ Cooper from Coen to the Gregory District (Cloncurry).
