I do myself the honor to inform you that, by letter under date the 10^th Instant, Lieutenant John Murray has tendered his resignation of his appointment as 1^st Lieut: in the Native Police Force under your command, and that His Excellency the Governor has been pleased to accept such resignation from the 1^st February 1862.
