A Magisterial enquiry having been held concerning the

Lieutenant Wheeler.

Commandant N. M. Police.

the deaths of certain Aborigines at Fassifern in December last, and it appearing from the Evidence adduced that these Aborigines were shot by the Native Police, I am instructed to forward to you the depositions taken by Dr Challinor J.P. and to request you report upon the matter. -
