very nice fellow who, however has more
money than brains. The Freshman's wine
last night came off, but it was not really
as bad as was expected. They lit a
bonfire in the quad and howled round
it like maniacs. Then they made a
noble resolution to rag somebody's rooms.
It is a wonder they didn't hit on mine
for I think I am in most odium with them.
However what they did do was to go to
the rooms of a small, very drunken club of
3 in the college, called the Bacchanals,
and simply knocked the furniture to
matchwood. Of course the colllege has to pay
for the furniture, so it doesn't matter.

However, it seemed a strange thing to
turn & rend their own friends like that.
