I thought perhaps you would care to know that I have got the 'Stanhope' this year. A Balliol man is proxime & a St John's man mentioned. It was rather foolish to go in for it when I had Mods in hand.

I hope you are well and enjoying your summer week. Fox told me that you had been to see him. 'Eights' week is just

over and also the good weather, for we seem in for tropical rains again now.
