I have been much cheered by the attitude of some of the Labour Party - Ramsay Macdonald especially. I rather agree with Lord M. that they are our natural allies. Fatted souls like Liberals can never be Imperialists.

I am much out of temper & look forward to a week's salmonfishing in Sutherland to put me in love with life again
