My dear Buchan

All the money I can provide at present will go to War Relief Funds. I don't want to balk out of what I said I would give to Arthur Grenfell's affair. But I can give nothing till

the war is over & what I shall have then is uncertain.

For the present however what I want to say is that I can give nothing, except to Relief Funds, till the war is over
