yesterday afternoon. We dined at home last night &
read aloud after dinner. We had some of Glenconner's salmon, which
was very good. It was very kind of you to send it.

I have little in the way of news. I see that
Sir James Wolfe-Murray is to command the troops in S. Africa,
so the Sutherlands will get back to Cringletie [ST: near Peebles], which
is a good thing.

I hope you are not doing too much
