a sheer godsend, midst a stack of stodgy stupidity that passes for war literature. One does not require a pair of powerful spectacles or a dictionary always by one's side to read & understand your splendid History. The Plans & maps enlighten the text, instead of confusing it as is usual. But perhaps the greatest compliment I can pay the History is the fact that last Sunday afternoon I held the complete attention of two Boys aged 9 & 11 respectively for two hours by reading the same to them.
