Sir John French made it a condition, formally embodied in writing, that every Correspondent's letter from the Front should be censored at the Headquarter Staff in France. Who the idiots

were who cut out your descriptions of the Highland fighting I do not know, and it is perhaps not better to enquire. Something will have to be done, though I really do not know what.
