We had quite a smooth crossing, during which Belloc argued on theology in a voice of thunder. We lost him at Boulogne, & think he must have been mistaken for Ben Tillett & taken off with a Labour party.

Boulogne & we dined there. We got to the chateau at 10.30 to find the remains of a dinner party that had been asked to meet us. Felix Warre was there, & I was very glad to see him again.

Paris train after tea.

There were some wierd flashlights of me & H M. in the Herald & Pictorial yesterday.
