I am deeply touched by your kind letter, and most grateful for the book you send me and the reference it contains. Thank you very deeply. I shall treasure it very much.

I am just finishing a small memoir of Julian and Billy. It is entirely private, just for the other children, and the family, but I wonder if you would allow me to lend you my own copy when it is ready? I know you would not allow it to go out of your own hands, and I think that you

would like some of their letters about the War.
