Tommy Nelson is back & very anxious to see me. I must
hunt up him, Sandy [Gillon] & Francis [?] as soon as I recover.

I shall write a denunciatory ode on my duodenum to day. I
don't believe Blenkiron's was as troublesome, do you?

John Scantlebury Blenkiron is a fictional character, first introduced in 'Greenmantle', which was published in 1916. JB gave him his own duodenal troubles, as well as love of the card game, Patience.
