must write Rosalind a lengthy "Collins." I wrote steadily after dinner till
midnight. Yesterday was a gorgeous day, bright & cold. I wrote all morning.
I had a very good meeting in the afternoon, at which I found Jimmy Monro, whom
I brought back to tea.

I dined with George Brown & spent a pleasant evening. To day I
go out to Galashiels at 2.30. I don't know how I will get on to night
in the great hall with these infernal slides, most of which I have succeeded
in cracking. To-morrow I come in to Edinburgh, & shall be home (d.v.) on
Wednesday morning.

I do hope I will find you all well. Much love to yourself &
to the blessings

Your ever devoted

Mr. Fozz.
