review copy of the first 2 volumes of Mr. Alleyne Ireland's monumental
"Report on Colonial Administration in the Far East." These volumes,
the first of the Series, are just published.

There is no comprehensive work at the present time on comparative
colonization, and as the subject is one of growing importance, Mr.
Ireland's report will fill a real need for government, public, univer-
sity, commerical and private libraries, as well as for purposes of
individual research.

A description is enclosed, which will give you the details of the
volumes, the price of set, and general details of the work. May we
not hope that you will find it possible to review the volumes in your
columns?
