My darling little Susie

My wire would tell you that
Mother had a good night. She has been
rather sickly today & very depressed, but she
has managed to eat most of her food.
The only thing that cheers her is the
Ladykin to whom she tells fairy tales in
a broken voice. Poor wee body, she is
having a desperately hard time. Hitherto
she has had one bad & one good night alternating.
If she could only get two or three good
