My dear John

I am sending you my book hoping that you
may find some suggestions in it of future possi-
bilities. But of course it is only a preperation
for one that should prove the case "to the hilt".
I hope to have strength to start this very soon, but
even if not I shall leave abundant material
at the service of some more competent worker.

Is there any hope of seeing you & Susie ^(to whom my love) before
the general scattering?
