told you about the eggs. They got safely to London &
have been much appreciated. We got some pheasants from Lady
Sutherland. The Wolfe-Murrays called on Sunday. They are
coming to lunch on the 18th.
This morning was thick fog, but it is bright & sunny now.
I saw Strachey this morning. He was ill last week, vomiting
blood, but it seems it was nothing.
