I read last night with much interest your Life of Lord Ardwall.

At page 20 you say 'We find him engaged ---- like the trial of the City of Glasgow Bank Directors, and he soon began to share with Mr Comrie Thomson ----

In the Scottish Law Review for Sept 1898 I find that Mr Comrie Thomson did not return to the Bar till 1883 - four years after City Bank Directors' trial. There is not much in this but I think it right to direct your attention to it. I have enjoyed the perusal of the Life very much.
