Gilbert Murray, Esq., M.A., Board of Education, Whitehall, S.W.
My dear Murray,
I wonder if you would be President of our informal little Anglo-American Society, which, as you remember, was first started at a meeting at the House of Commons some weeks ago? I had a meeting in my room this afternoon, and there was a very general desire that you should act as our President.
We propose to have a conference next week to settle the scheme of working.
Yours ever,
John Buchan
