I had a pretty hectic day yesterday chiefly at the Admiralty. The King goes to the Fleet, & they wanted me to go with him, but I can't get away

that week. We dined with the American Ambassador & met the late American Ambassador to Turkey, a very intelligent man.
I shall have to say a few words at Robbie's memorial service this afternoon & it won't be very easy.
The children seem to be very well & happy. It is a great blessing they
