[Kutch coat of arms]

Dalness October 15th 1921

Dear Mr Buchan

I was very glad to hear from you again, and to learn that you had so kindly sent off the first volume of the revised History. This has not reached me yet, but I expect it by next post, three days hence.

I got back here from Geneva on the 5th. The trustees were kind enough to extend my shoot till the 20th. It has been very wet and misty and several days it has been useless to go out after stags; but I have got 5 more stags up to date, one being a 10 pointer and having a very fine head.

I went over to Glen Etive one day and saw Mr and Mrs Nelson and Mr and Mrs Hogge. I wish you had been there too. It was Mr Nelson who gave me a shot at a stag just within his boundary; a shot which succeeded. I shall look forward to the arrival of your several volumes as they appear, and thank you very much for your kindness in promising them to me. I shall value them very much - both on account of the material and on account of the donor. If you ever come to India, mind you let me know.

With my kind regards

I remain

Yours sincerely

Maharao Kengărji of Kutch
