got a bad cold. I spent a night at Grosvenor St, where Marnie & her children were staying. Yesterday I went down to Portsmouth in lovely weather & was taken for a walk & shown the old town. My meeting was at 2.30 - over 1500

men, - a wonderful audience to speak to, & my goodness! how they sang. I caught the 4.10 train to get here in time for dinner - a lovely little house among pinewoods. Lady Minto thinks I look better than she has ever seen me, & I must say I feel very well.
