Just a line to say that I will be down to-morrow evening by the usual train. Hugh will come on Saturday at 1.7. I have informed Ashby.

Uncle Dick turned up to-day

and asked me to dinner to-night, but I want an evening to myself. It is the [Ulster?] Club to night, but I am already sick of that institution.

We had a very successful American dinner last night, F.E. Smith was very eloquent, & Dr Buttrick

made a first-class speech.
