Thank you so much for reading the articles, and for that acute litt.^ry criticism. May I - or rather of course I may - profit by it? On the other hand my peculiar brand of attitude as a writer is so well known in America - the 'detached', or whatever it should be called - that I hardly think most Americans would lump this specimen of it in as an instance of the Oxford manner; but one never knows; and I will safeguard if I can.
