My dear Murray,

Mr. William Allen White of Kansas, one of the best known politicians and editors in the Middle West, is in London during next week, and I am very anxious to get a few people together to meet him. Do you think you could come and dine on Wednesday, the 10th inst., at 37 Queen's Gate?

Mr. White is returning to America to run a propagandist campaign and it is very important that he should meet people in this country who can inform him about the true position of affairs.
