truculent, and slightly resentful of Nanny's attention to Alastair. Isn't the news wonderful? My work now is almost confined to peace terms. I thought Wilson's reply very good.

The children are always wanting to know when you are coming here. You will come, please, won't you? We long to have you. I hope Nan is quite well now & that you are fairly well.
