I am very busy just now with peace terms.
It is a most intricate job. Yesterday I had
a visit from my colleague in the dramatisation of
'Greenmantle'. I am going to edit Francis
Grenfell's letters & diaries after the war & was
reading them last night. They are wonderfully
good, quite as good as the other Grenfell book.

Hugh Macmillan is back, but still very groggy.
Influenza is very bad here. I do hope you will escape it
at Peebles.
