My dearest wee Mother
All the cripples in this house are pretty well to-day. Mr John looks the most pulled down. He is behaving just as he behaved this time last year. Alice shows a great love of staying in bed, so we have christened her Florence Nightingale. She & Mr John came down for tea yesterday.
The new cook is coming to-day. The men are coming to move Robbie's harmonium up to

Susie's nursery school. It will be doing some good there, & we can get it back whenever we want it. Many thanks to old Nan for the '[?]' & the children's [postcards?]. I do hope you are not feeling the worse of Glasgow, & that the pain is not too bad.
