Dear Buchan.

I enclose a copy of my letter to Ulster - which
we talked about yesterday. My object was to endeavour
to shephard the Ulster flock towards a less irreconcileable
attitude without ramming "politics" down them at
Xmas. Please return it when done with.
I heard from Stephen Gwynn this morning, which
I also enclose, & which shows that he is getting on.
