My dearest wee Mother

This is a cold bright day. Yesterday I took Mr John out in the afternoon, while Alice went to the Pantomime. We got a boat & explored the Regent's Park lake & he rowed. He is wonderfully good with an oar. Then we had tea together, & I paid my usual visit to the dentist, who could find nothing wrong with my teeth. Susie & I dined with Lady Celia Coates & talked fishing. Susie is still sair hadden doun with the

servant problem. Whenever she thinks she has settled with anybody, they always take a thought & fail her.

We go up to Oxford on Monday morning. Our address is 3 Oriel Street. I am going to take my M.A. degree [?] next Thursday, which I have never taken yet

We are all well. I do hope you are keeping a little better
