We dined with Gerard Sellar & went to the "Chinese Puzzle" for which I was given a box by my colleague in the dramatisation of "Greenmantle". We went behind the scenes afterwards to see him. He will probably play "Sandy" in my play. It is a queer world that of the stage.

To morrow evening we go down to States for the week-end, & Lord Grey is taking pity on us & giving is dinner to night. I am longing to be in Scotland to see you all.
