I have just read and, needless to say, thoroughly enjoyed Mr. John Buchan's "Mr. Standfast." In view of the likelihood of such an admirable book going into further editions I trust you will not think me very pernickety if I point out that Assistant Provost Marshals on Home Service do not wear the red staff marks, they wear blue.
